About the Maestro
Mohamed Bouslama is a Tunisian conductor, violin professor and Head of Department at the Higher Institute of Music of Tunis, as well as Artistic Consultant for the Mélodivers School in Paris. He has held several key positions, including Artistic Director of the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra (2020–2023), Director of the Music and Opera Department at the Cité de la Culture in Tunis (2020), and Music Production Manager at the Tunisian Opera theater (2018).
He holds a Master’s degree in Musicology from the Higher Institute of Music of Tunis and an Executive Master’s in Cultural Management and Policy from Paris-Dauphine University. His training was further enriched at the Academy of the Aix-en-Provence Festival, where he honed his chamber music skills with the Cadences Quartet, as well as his expertise in orchestral conducting and cultural mediation.
Deeply committed to contemporary creation, Mohamed Bouslama has conducted several major artistic projects such as Tomorrow Dom’s Day, The Opening of the Francophonie, Alice Operetta, and Malabares Project. He has conducted various orchestras, including the Cadences Orchestra in Tunisia, ASBU Orchestra and the Al Jazeera Orchestra in Qatar. As a violinist, he has also participated in several international productions, notably Mille et Deuxième Nuit at the Avignon Festival, soloist with the amopa choir of Paris. Actively engaged on the international music scene, he has been recognized by France with the status of “Internationally Renowned Artist.”
